Amy was my colleague when she worked as the Librarian at Corona Del Mar Middle School/High School in Newport Mesa Unified School District. I had the pleasure of working with Amy for 6 years at Corona del Mar Middle and High School in Newport Beach, California. The moment I started working with Amy she demonstrated exceptional
management and organizational skills. She worked well with teachers and students and supported their needs anywhere from collaborating on lessons, providing technology support and helping students research. At the beginning of every school year,
Amy would set up a presentation for incoming students to show them how to utilize the library and how to conduct research using databases. I was always impressed with how well Amy managed
the distribution of textbooks to the students at the beginning of the school year, throughout the school year, and then the return of the textbooks at the end of the school year. Amy also took on the task of being AP coordinator which required a lot of managing and organizing, all while making it look effortless.
